Digital subscriptions represent the most important trend in transformation process of the world news media. We are very happy that "Gazeta Wyborcza" is at the European forefront in this regard, and in Poland we are the undisputed leader of the process. What gives us the most satisfaction, however, is that so many readers consider our texts, podcasts and videos as an essential part of their lives. This means a return to the roots of journalism, because it obliges us to maintain the highest quality - says Jerzy Wójcik, publisher of "Gazeta Wyborcza".

"Gazeta Wyborcza" is the leader in the digitization process of the press in Poland - in February 2014, it was the first Polish title to introduce a system of limited free access to its digital content and an offer of paid digital subscription. Currently, each subscriber can also read "Wyborcza's" content in the form of an e-edition, i.e. in a form that replicates the press layout. At the end of June 2020, the daily had 243.3 thou. active digital subscriptions.

FIPP (Fédération Internationale de la Presse Périodique) - the International Periodic Press Federation unites over 500 press publishers from several dozen countries. The report "Global Digital Subscription Snapshot 2020 2 / Q3" was prepared in cooperation with CeleraOne.
